Age is in your head, be nice wherever you go!

This week I had the pleasure of participating in a great solidarity event in my city, among other things, there were two parades of two companies in the city, not with models like the ones you see on TV, but with ordinary people of all ages. . Children smile and have fun, while parents vibrate. Women between the age of 20 and 30 were tense, worried about photos, being impeccably perfect.

But two of the models of the first program caught the eye (not just mine): two women over the age of 40 with an energy and vitality that infected everyone around them, one of them of which I know more. And do I see it as a joy of living, a smile on his face, a desire to help people? That person who approaches and makes you happy, you know? There is an energy of peace that, in today’s world, is difficult. to find The simplest, the most refined. Always cheerful, helpful, willing and grateful.

  • And here’s the word: gratitude.
  • Always celebrate life and look at things with the eyes of good.
  • And that cannot be learned overnight.
  • It’s obvious.
  • But it’s worth a try.

As the parade went to the beginning of the event, there was time to observe everything, many were there in that spirit of gratitude. They understood the real reason for the project. Others would like only a few photos with politicians and people from high society, mingle or do business.

I worked on the event for a friend, who was there with the same goal as me: the entities that would benefit from it deserved the best of us. A very important hotel in the city provided space for the event: clean, organized and tidy. . Several trash cans were scattered around the site.

An hour I went out to smoke (yes, do I still have this bad habit? For now) and I’ve seen people buy very expensive bottles of drink and pour them over plants, eat and spread dishes, glasses, towels? The whole floor.

My mother is from the moment she loaded a garbage bag into the car to put it on until she gets home and plays in the right place. And he passed it to me. If I can’t find a trash can, I even carry a butt wrapped in paper in my bag and throw it away when I get home. And we’ve always been very simple (economically).

However, the people who were there, understanding the real reason for the project, threw their trash in the right places and even picked up other people’s trash, without criticizing, complaining or saying anything, simply did. For these people, as well as me, the friend I went to help and the person I mentioned earlier, is a very normal thing.

I’ve always opposed “chic” events a little bit, albeit charitable. Precisely because in the past I only saw the wrong side. Could you see only the tough guy, the hypocrite, the ungrateful?I was a judge of the world. Bad habit. I didn’t understand that no matter why they’re here, the money they paid to be there goes to a good cause, associations of women and children in critical condition, of women with cancer?

And in the end I did my part being there and doing my best, and that’s the responsibility of each of us. To give your best, if your neighbor doesn’t do it is his business and one day he’ll have to take care of it, let’s be more like the lady I mentioned earlier: smile at the world, help people, fill yourself with good things, surround yourself with good people. He appreciates being like this and having the opportunity and discernment to improve every day. This is what the Universe expects of you! May you be happy and do your best.

If people don’t recognize what you’re doing for them, you’ll find it doesn’t matter. You know what you’ve done and other doors will open. Will you appreciate your day, your health, your opportunities, the love you receive from the people around you. Spread love and gratitude. Don’t expect anything in return, do it for yourself. And whoever’s around you will go with you.

That’s how the world will become a better place. One person who changes at once, no matter how long it takes. Don’t give up hope, I know the energy that lights up around you, no matter your age, forget about this story that only young people have energy, light? It’s just something you achieve over time.

Be light wherever you go!
