From the undergrowth brain to the brain brain

Much of the information we capture with our senses when we are small is stored and stored in our subconscious. Alongside this sensory information, we also record the beliefs and expectations we develop. Thus, when childhood is left behind, much of this mental content remains and will have a considerable influence on our behavior.

Scientific research has found a wide variety of brain waves that we can identify based on their frequency: from the very low levels of activity recorded in deep sleep (delta waves), to the higher frequencies recorded during conscious thoughts (beta waves). In age, the predominant frequencies in their brains change from slower waves to faster waves, i. e. from subconscious to conscious mind.

  • From birth to age 2.
  • The human brain works primarily with less frequent brain waves.
  • During deep sleep.
  • Adults end up in a delta.
  • Which is why newborns typically can’t stay awake more than a few minutes in a row.

Therefore, they work mainly from the subconscious. They censor, correct or judge only information received from the outside world. At this age, the activity of the brain?(neocortex) is very low.

From 2 to 5 years of age, children begin to show slightly higher EEG patterns. Children living in Zeta live in a trance-like brain state and are mainly connected to their inner world. They live in the world of abstract and abstract. The imaginary one. They have an underdeveloped critical and rational thought. For the same reason, young children tend to believe what they are told (as Santa Claus exists).

At this age, phrases like the following have a very strong impact: “Good girls are quiet. Kids don’t cry. Your brother’s smarter than you. You can’t do this. You’ll be a failure. Etc. These types of statements go directly to the subconscious, because slow states of brain waves are the domain of the subconscious.

Everything a child sees and hears is consolidated into beliefs, and these beliefs determine their behavior or how they interpret adult reality, so it is very important to educate in this spirit, now that you know this valuable information, be responsible.

From 5 to 8 years, brain waves return to a slightly higher frequency, the analytical mind begins to form, allowing us to interpret and draw conclusions about the laws of foreign life, at the same time, the inner world of imagination tends to be as real as the outside world.

Children in this age group usually have one foot in each world, so they love to organize games. For example, if you ask a child to imitate a dolphin by swimming in the sea, which becomes a snowflake dragged by the wind or a superhero who will save someone, after hours he will continue to dive into this role.

From 8 to 12 years old, brain activity increases, even at higher frequencies. These waves last into adulthood and increase by varying degrees. After the age of 12, the door between the conscious and subconscious mind usually closes. Beta waves are divided into low, medium and high waves. As they approach adolescence, children switch from low beta waves to medium and high beta waves, similar to those in most adults.

Now that you know more or less about the functioning of brain waves and the role of the subconscious mind, you must understand that all the information your mind has absorbed during the first 7 years of life still has an influence on your life. If you realize who you are and care about knowing yourself, you can control and manage that influence.

So, if you have children in your care, be careful what you tell them!Because they’ll believe. Be very patient with them and constantly talk about how valuable they are. Love and teach these children to love each other because it will be something that will be present throughout their lives in one way or another.
