To dream is to imagine a world that you don’t see, that you don’t touch, but that you can create however you want. We are not crazy to dream; Madness is never dreaming and being immobilized by the fear of not being able to realize our dreams.
People often tell us not to dream, to go down into the real world and look at life as it presents itself. Dreams are sketches of what we would like to see happen and can help us go our way.
“We are made of the same material with which dreams are woven, our short life is surrounded by dreams. “
-Willian Shakespeare-
Our mind is capable of imagining fantastic worlds, possible and impossible situations, millions of colors and infinite possibilities. To dream is to bridge between what exists and what might exist.
This incredible capacity of the human being is often perceived by those around us as a sign that we are lost in an imaginary world from which we cannot return, by not dreaming we lose great opportunities to create realities.
Of course, there is a reason for all this, sleep has no limits, but reality has them, we need to think and understand what can be achieved.
When we dream, we need to know what we’re doing, are we able to put these wonderful ideas into practice or are they just fantasies?Fight for these achievable dreams and turn those who are not into art.
“I am a practical dreamer, my dreams are not “castles in the air. “What do I want to make my dreams come true?.
-Mahatma Gandhi-
Without the dreamers, we would have lost great works and creations. Perhaps all the great ideas were born of dreams and the question of whether this was possible. Dreaming can transform the world; without the ability to dream we would not have been able to advance social struggle, science, art and human relations, without dreams we would be satisfied with what we see and accept as the only possible option.
They say dreams are just dreams, but this abstraction of the real world allows us to look at reality from another point of view, or create a different perspective. Dreaming of a better future and it can happen.
“An American sociologist said more than thirty years ago that advertising was a great dream salesman, but I don’t want anyone else’s dreams to sell me, I just want mine to come true. “
-Mario Benedetti-
On the other hand, the obsession with dreams can make us very unhappy. Believing that what we don’t have is an essential factor in being happy is a mistake. We can make certain dreams come true; others are just fantasies.
Can’t we make the mistake of believing that? It’s the only way to happiness. Often, a simple and quiet life is enough to live life to the fullest, making dreams come true is just an option and not an obligation.
They say happiness is in the little things, and maybe they’re right. However, some people do not comply and live dreaming. Dreams are as unique as we are.
If you’ve decided to make your dream come true, you should know that it won’t be easy and won’t depend on others. A dream doesn’t come true in a “magic trick”: you need sweat, determination and hard work.
