We all have an empty place in our heart, a secret place to which we can return with the spirit, however, to which we would never return in physical form, there are places, settings, people, things that are related to our past that build who we are. . It is the experience of lived events, lost loves, frustrations, disappointments and happy joys that will never return.
How many times have you felt lost throughout your life?In fact, this disorientation is something we will live for a long time, for nothing in this world is certain, and this sense of inner loss also forces us to move forward and learn.
- What really matters is where to go.
- Sometimes distance is the only answer to our misfortune and every step we take in the opposite direction is a step forward for our personal growth.
- So will we need a lot of courage?.
Knowing where to go is not having an established destiny, we are talking about goals, projects and above all self-knowledge, knowing what we deserve and what we are not willing to try again, knowing the limits to help our growth.
If we stop for a moment and think about whether or not we know where we’re going, the reality is that we can’t give a safe answer. Who knows what’s coming tomorrow? We know what we have here and now, that’s why tomorrow is nothing more than the water that slips into our hands.
These discoveries do not happen overnight, it is a path, a path to be traversed in an interval called life where we must always go in the only direction: to move forward leaving behind places, spaces and people to whom we must not return.
If you don’t let go of the past, what hand will you hold the future with?In fact, sometimes it is necessary to look back and get far away from those who have hurt us, from this experience that has changed us or from this place that leads us to a past that no longer identifies us.
However, we are aware that it is not easy to take this step and say that we will not return, the act of leaving, giving up, getting away from something or someone, involves, above all, breaking a bond, whether it is familiar, emotional or friendly. In any case, there will always be some kind of emotional pain.
