I’m such a strong hug that it breaks my fears

Unsolicited, assaulting and involving embraces have great healing power, human beings are social emotional creatures and need this daily contact, with which they reaffirm their relationships and, at the same time, feel loved. Loved.

In our space we usually talk about the need to learn to be alone, to avoid the unhealthy attachments that sometimes bind us to things and people to the point of vetoing our personal growth, but everything has its balance and its raison d’eer. .

  • We must all be united with something or someone in one way or another.
  • However resilient we may be.
  • We all have wings to fly.
  • But also roots in which we stick to love.
  • To enrich ourselves with these relationships that also define us.
  • : friends.
  • Family.
  • Couple.
  • Children?.

Hugs heal souls and reaffirm our emotions, these are moments of silence where they comfortably let their hearts beat, and there are no fears, no noises, no doubts?

Hugs, as well as physical contact, are part of our psychological well-being and also of our development, although most living things need this contact to relate to others, in the case of humans the need to caress, kiss and feel the skin against the skin also fills other dimensions that deserve to be known.

When we reached the world, our brain, far from mature, grew only about 25%. The rest of the neural structures and joints will be determined, above all, by the first 5 years of life, during which the lifestyle creation will be decisive.

It must be thought that during these first months of life there is no language and communication is established through emotions, caresses, kisses, hugs and that warm voice that caresses and provides security.

If a child is not cared for when he cries, if he does not run to calm him down, if he is numbed or cared for with sincere love, all of this creates stress, a brain that secretes cortisol is a brain that does not. develop well.

Social isolation or deprivation of caresses during childhood prevents many brain cells from becoming mature to form white matter in the brain. In turn, less myelin is also produced, which is essential for neurons to communicate with each other.

All of this would lead to some cognitive delays, as well as social and emotional deficits.

Sometimes a hug is more important than words, nonverbal language has a direct impact on our emotional world and our romantic relationships, and has an even more special meaning if accompanied by physical contact.

Something as simple and elemental as a hug gives a huge sense of fullness to the one who gives it and to the recipient, wins and is considered, at the same time, as a gesture capable of nourishing our brain, able to bring us, sometimes, more benefits than the food itself.

Hugs are not mandatory, are not currency and are not mandatory. It should also be noted that not all hugs are equal; If they come from someone we love and who lives in our hearts, then our brain releases oxytocin, the hormone related to well-being and pleasure.

Nothing makes as much sense as a hug in the face of moments of doubt or emotional discomfort, when we are visited by fears and anxieties.

The fact that we feel wrapped in strength, love and sincerity for this special person relieves the coldness of the soul almost instantly to show us that everything is fine, that the world is calm.

A hug relieves stress, reduces anxiety and promotes our physical and emotional health, a hug brings us closer to your loved one.

As we have already said, it is important to always maintain self-love and avoid exaggerated attachments that leave no room for personal growth, we know that.

However, in a relationship, these actions are fundamental to reaffirming the relationship itself, because we all need to feel safe and receive protection at the same time as we offer it to the other.

Finally, they are two beings building the same unit, so don’t let yourself be hugged, leave them for tomorrow or let your partner ask for them.

Practice the “bear hug”, which has so much strength that it takes your breath away, but at the same time conveys messages such as “I support you, I share your joy or sadness and I love you”.

And do not neglect the embrace of the heart, where tenderness springs directly from this organ and where there is eye contact, is it a long and sublime embrace, pure and unconditional love?
