Lack of empathy

I use social media a lot for work, for personal research, and to laugh a little too. I read a lot of comments, be it in articles, on profiles of people I admire or on humor pages. And one thing struck me: lack of empathy.

I’m going to list here some phrases I’ve read in the last few days: “Is this the least abhorrent of your children?(Referring to a 4-year-old boy older than 3 children of a famous business company);” I wonder what he was doing. There to get there? (about a girl who was kidnapped at the age of 14, saw her father die and was raped for 6 months, every day, by a member of the Islamic State); Doesn’t it make sense to be rich and ugly with an old lady’s face?(About a 22-year-old artist who recently celebrated her birthday); Etc.

  • How does this mother feel when she sees people speak and judge her children under the age of 4 as adults? How does a girl who went through everything that happened at the age of 14 feel and is currently admitted to a psychiatric hospital for everything that has happened? And what would she think of being blamed for what happened? How does a 22-year-old feel when she sees people talk about her weight and what she looks like and judge her for it?I can sum up your answer in one word: pain.

It hurts so much to hear bad things from the person we love, it hurts to go through trauma and see the finger of society pointing at you blaming you for the bad things that happened to you, as if the suffering of the fact itself was not enough, it hurts to learn to manage one’s appearance in a society so full of beauty, conquer so much and see that many people do not see any of their victories , only what they consider different.

My life has changed a lot since I started acting like this: I talk and do to others only what I want them to do to me, and it starts with little attitudes: him?Hello? To everyone I know, smiles, speaks kindly, be helpful and very grateful to everyone, write about things I would like to read?Etc. The return is undeniable! People are much more useful to me, they are quieter and nicer, they smile at me, they are also grateful, and this incredible exchange of energy benefits parties and the environment.

If we do good, good comes back, it is clear that by doing evil, it also comes back, it is undeniable!Attacking, belittling, or offending people, whether out of envy, anger, or for whatever reason, will bring you much, much more than you hate and drive you further away than you really want. Honestly, I refuse to believe that a sane person deliberately wants to harm another person I still believe in human beings. I believe you! I know the change, take the test, you won’t regret it!

Thank you! Namaste
