Is there a space that takes away the optimistic attitude and generates good vibrations?”Positivism”? Manifesto. Many of these perspectives give rise to what is called pronoia, a word that refers to a state of consciousness that has practically become doctrine, establishes that certain rituals of self-suggestion must be performed to make the universe?Conspiring?
The word pronoia appears as opposed to the disorder known as “paranoia”. The latter involves delusions whose central content is the conviction that the universe is conspiring to harm us, so any difficulty or obstacle is interpreted as the effect of an invisible conspiracy, without any evidence of it. The source of this universal conspiracy would be a “superior power”, which could be the devil, aliens, etc.
“Anyone who trusts invisible forces has no confidence in anything. – Walter Scarpetta-
In pronoia there is a similar mechanism, although the purpose of the plot is the opposite, in this case, are there higher powers ?, conspiring so that everything goes perfectly and, however paradoxical it may seem, anyone who takes pronoia as a philosophy of life is also very close to falling into paranoid states, because the logic of the two mental conditions is the same.
There is a debate about whether pronoia should be considered a mental disorder per se or if it is just a symptom, but there is no consensus on it. Consensus lies solely in the fact that it is a distorted view of reality.
Currents? Positive spirit?began to develop in the 1980s, while the doctrines of the so-called “new age” were spread throughout the world. At the end of the millennium, the idea that there would be a change of epoch and that this change would represent a new spread of “positive” consciousness. To be part of these new times, objects would have to be used and rituals that attract “good energies” would have to be performed.
Most of these ideas come from certain religions such as Hinduism, but were taken out of context and used in pieces in Western thought, applied to material questions and desires. The existence of the so-called “law of attraction” has been widely publicized, according to which, in order to achieve something, the deep desire to obtain it would have to be nurtured, thus increasing the chances that desire will become reality. This feeding of desire is made, according to these currents, through rituals of the self. -suggestion.
Thus, the foundation has been laid for this symptom known as pronoia to appear and consolidate, if you want to own a mansion, these chains argue that you must start to visualize it every day in your mind, that you must focus a lot on this image. and even start providing it. If you do it correctly, the universe will conspire and, sooner or later, the mansion of your dreams will be yours.
Ideologies that promote pronoia sell hope. This, in principle, would be laudable, if not for the fact that, in fact, an entire market has been formed around the “positive spirit”. It is reprehensible to see how, in many of these cases, people make mistakes and ultimately waste valuable time, not to mention the cost of living of reality from a distorted perspective and bear the weight of disappointments resulting from this attitude.
From an ethical and psychological point of view, it is serious to make people believe that they can achieve their goals at the expense of “concentration” and “opinions. “And offer to help them with the practices of “Energy Attraction” and those absurdity. It’s something that takes away the value of hard work, effort and perseverance. Meanwhile?. A lot of people fill their pockets.
Any ideology that sells paradises at very low prices is suspicious at least, at the bottom of these currents of thought what is promised is impossible: without difficulty or effort, it is common for people immersed in these perspectives to favor pronoia for they claim that it is necessary to avoid problems or move away from those who suffer from them, considering problems as contagious diseases. They sell smoke and there’s a lot of people buying it.
The survival of these “positive” currents is based on a careful marketing strategy. It is common knowledge that many people around the world fear difficulties because they do not know that they can develop and build tools to deal with them. Do they feed the illusion that we’re in a universe where we just have to “connect”?so that our desires come true. They extort people emotionally and financially. These are dead weights.
