Why is it so hard to recognize our mistakes? Error is part of human nature; the important thing is how we position ourselves in the face of mistakes made, there are two ways to react to a mistake:
1- Try to hide it, blame others or avoid it, this has bad consequences because you will not learn from mistakes and you may feel guilty and frustrated.
- We can fool people by showing them that we are perfect.
- But we can never go wrong.
- Not recognizing error prevents us from growing and maturing.
- Recognizing a mistake is essential to become strong and do it differently next time.
2- Recognize error with humility and willingness to learn. If we hide a mistake, how are we going to learn? Recognizing a mistake and going backwards is a sign of bravery, as well as bringing us peace of mind.
Accept mistakes and address external consequences and criticism. Recognizing a mistake does not diminish us, but magnifies us. Be humble, recognize your failure, and find ways to overcome it.
No one was born knowing everything. Despite the counsel of others, we learn only from our own experiences. People who say they have never failed are because they have never taken any risks and have always stayed in their ‘comfort zone’.
The less risk we take, the fewer mistakes we make. If a boat takes a familiar and safe path, it will never have problems, but will not have new experiences and will not experience other landscapes. When we want to show an image of perfection and not recognize our flaws, we act like that business. manager who is always right, who never fails and when something goes wrong it’s each other’s fault.
If we spend our lives with this attitude, others won’t see our human side. No one is looking for perfect friends, and people who want to look like perfect bosses or parents, who never make mistakes, will never have real friends and people. interested in an honest and true relationship.
1- We will attract more people to our life taking care of our mistakes, with this attitude we will show that we are humble and sincere people, recognizing the defects is a virtue.
2- Self-awareness: getting to know each other better and realizing one’s own qualities and flaws brings self-understanding and confidence.
3- We will live a more honest and sincere life and this translates into safety and well-being.
4- Happiness will be closer to us, for it will not be necessary to be perfect, evil is normal and does not mean failure, but learning.
5- We will acquire good tools to overcome the adversities of life, every mistake we make, which we try to correct and overcome, gives us more tolerance for frustration.
The wrong is not so negative; means we’ve had the courage to take our chances and have new experiences. If we are able to recognize the flaws, we will be freer, because what others think of us is irrelevant. Assuming our mistakes takes a lot of courage and humility.
If we give ourselves the freedom to make mistakes, we will learn to be more flexible and tolerant of ourselves, and these tools will help us open new doors and grow.
