Slaves during the day, tyrants at night

Many of us are slaves by day and tyrants at night, we are the ones who demand to understand our conditions, but also those who use the same system to reproduce these conditions.

There is cheap food, cheap flights and today cheap couriers have also started to appear in big cities, this may be the maximum degradation of the saying that everyone who wants to work ends up working.

  • We are doctors who use the same health system that sickens resources.
  • That we buy from brands produced in countries where working conditions are much more precarious than ours.
  • Etc.

As a society, after all, are we the ones who are running this cycle ?, anesthetized by the consumption of our most precious resource, time. Anesthesia at the same time is necessary, because otherwise we would poison ourselves with our own dissonance between what we want to be and how we act.

“We are slaves by day, tyrants at night. We complain about our conditions and reward those who impose them.

It’s time to have a family you don’t see, money to pay for a trip you don’t enjoy, buy you a camera you don’t take photos with, the time you spend between your fingers like drops of cold water. that gradually erode our bones and form wrinkles on our skin.

We are slaves during the day because we work in precarious conditions for a salary that allows us to survive and one or the other dream that rarely materializes.

We are tyrants because we feed this same system, because we call a certain restaurant to order food, although we know that the place does not offer good conditions to its employees, because it is cheaper, because it is faster, because it gives us the feeling. that we have more free time. The same illusion that makes us slaves by day, makes us tyrants at night.

We accept taxes for a very low wage, we are aware that if we don’t others will, even for less, because there is always someone more in need than us.

Is it this insensitivity that allows current survival and, at the same time, silences our voices, which are lost between hours and hours looking out the windows, the screens of our smartphones or driving a car?Look how easily replaceable we are.

That is why a revolution is needed. It does not matter if it is large or small, but a revolution that begins with us, that we stop being slaves by day and tyrants by night, renounce precarious working conditions, renounce the temptation to buy cheaper, knowing that the difference in price It is always paid by whoever is at the end of the cycle.

We have to move away from the belief that eight hours of work equals three or four hours, and that fast passing Fast food, fast exercise, fast sleep? For that higher speed in a world that’s fast enough?

Why less exercise, why receive everything at home, in a world that only grows by leaps and bounds? Why so much technology if you end up working longer hours? Why so many offers if even with the full cart you feel that way?relief caused by the ray of sunshine coming after a long rain?

Everything is fast, everything is fast, it is always an illusion created by the system itself to convey the image that we enjoy free time and sufficient resources, but is it really so?Even those who think they have a living wage still think everything is fine when they put it aside?Available?

We work long hours, but do we get the equivalent in real time or just in “fast time”?Fasting, without transcendental weight, ends when a person decides to expose the current; then we face vertigo face to face, we face, naked, without any armor that prevents contact with the truth.

We look in the mirror and feel strange, we reflect in the mirror, but at the same time we feel absent, away from our bodies, people we love, who are trapped in offices looking at screens, talking about people who do not make a difference. in their lives, they waste their time.

We have many reasons to start a small revolution, a revolution that frees us from daytime slavery and nighttime tyranny.
