The benefits of opting for your lifestyle

We grew up with a set of rules pre-established by society, however, these rules can be positive or they can lead us down a path we don’t want to follow, do you listen to yourself to find out what makes you really happy?Do you choose your own lifestyle or simply follow the social brochure?

It seems that the world has defined activities that need to be done at all ages. If we are boys, we have to play with strollers, if we are girls, with dolls; men must be strong and women sensitive. At 25, should we get married, start a family and stay married for life, etc. ?

  • By the time someone decides to break the rules and live a different life.
  • The labels start to pop up.
  • If at 30 you don’t have children they’ll tell you to hurry or they’ll be born in trouble.
  • But few realize that this person doesn’t even want to have children.

If you’re 40 years old and don’t have a stable partner, you can say that you’re the single person in the family or that you stayed “for aunt. “We live in a society of fixed ideas; we like to say that we are modern, but in reality, society always likes to set rules.

The “black sheep” label? It is usually imposed when someone does not follow traditions deemed correct. If we have high self-esteem, there will be no problem when they try to label us, because we will give more value to ours. Feelings.

However, in the case of a person with low self-esteem, these labels can lead to different problems, such as living a life that is not desired and making others willing not to be criticized. There are several cases, such as homosexuals who choose to appear heterosexual, women marry and have children to integrate into social normality, others who follow careers they don’t like simply because they think it should be done is not what really fills them, etc.

The highest priority should always be to listen to you, without intermediaries, without assumptions, without opinions, without rules or betrayals. Many people may think they want something because they have a very strong belief in their minds, so the best way to listen must disconnect your mind and listen more to your inner feelings and voices.

There are people who live happily in social norms, which is good, because they do not need to rebel against them, but there are also other people whose lives have been imposed on them by the conventions of society, and they can go unhappiness.

If you feel that your happiness is not in the life you live, rebel and start deciding for yourself Do you forget what is considered?Normal?! Everyone has to live their lives, whether in social norms or not.

You’re 70 years old and would like to go to college?Life is now and if something makes you happy, enjoy the present. Don’t you want to have kids? Don’t do or do what makes you happy.

Not everyone should follow the same standards, not everyone should be the same or walk at the same pace. Are some happy to do five activities a day, while others prefer only two?Everything is relative and everyone wants something.

If we are aware that traditions are not rational, we will not mind abandoning them.

To impose equal rules on everyone is not to realize that every human being has different tastes and needs. There are no two identical minds and, although some people may be very similar, there are always differences in some tastes.

Listen to yourself and not others, because in the end no one will live our lives for us, let us be the designers of our own existence.
