The myth of Dionysus, also known as Bacchus in Roman mythology, speaks of a very cheerful demigod, always ready to celebrate, considered the god of fertility and wine, and also as the inspiration of ritual madness and ecstasy.
There are two basic versions of its origin, and both are very beautiful, the first version of the origin of the myth of Dionysus is the one that says he was the son of Zeus, god of the gods, and Perséfone, the queen of the gods. The underworld.

The second version of the Myth of Dionysus, and perhaps the most popular, begins with a beautiful princess named Semile.
Zeus fell in love with her at first sight and took a human form to visit her, quickly conquered her and then seduced her. Then she got pregnant and Zeus confessed who she really was.
In this version are also present the jealousy of Hera, Zeus’ wife, who when she learns of her husband’s infidelity, also takes human form and presents heses heses he himself to Semele as a nurse.
She incited the princess to confess who the child’s real father was. Hera then suggested that Zeus might not be who he said he was, sowing doubts and concerns in Semele’s mind.
Undoubtedly, Semele asked Zeus to present himself to her as a god, rather than a mortal. The Olympian god had promised her that she would always grant all her wishes, and therefore she could not refuse the request.
It then turned into lightning and thunder, causing the death of the charred princess. Dionysus, who was in his womb, was saved when Zeus placed him on his leg.
The myth of Dionysus says that Zeus entrusted his son to the care of Ino, who was the sister of the dead princess, and her husband, but Hera, who was always jealous, used cunning to try to drive these adoptive parents crazy.
Zeus decided to turn Dionysus into a child and entrusted him to Hermes, who in turn handed him over to the nynphs to raise him.
