Once upon a time the daughter of a gardener who complained about life and the difficulty of moving on, was tired of fighting and was no longer in the mood at all; when a problem was resolved, a new one appeared and made her feel defeated.
The gardener asked his daughter to come to the kitchen and sit down, then filled three containers with water and put them on fire, when the water started boiling, put a carrot in one of the containers, an egg in the other and in the third of the coffee beans. He let her boil without a word while her daughter waited impatiently without understanding what her father was doing. About twenty minutes later the fire went out: he took the carrots out of the water and put them in a bowl, put the eggs on a plate and finally filtered the coffee.
- He looked at his daughter and asked.
- “What do you see?”The father asked him to come over and touch the carrot; she obeyed and realized that the carrots were tender.
- Then he asked him to break the egg; she took off her shell and realized that the egg was hard.
- Eventually.
- He asked her to have a sip of coffee.
- She tried it.
- Smiled as she savored her sweet scent and humbly asked.
- “What does that mean.
- Dad?.
Then the gardener explained that all three had faced the same adversity: the boiling water, the carrot entered the water strong and firm, but after going through the boiling water, it became weak, it was easy to disassemble, the egg was brittle, but its thin shell protected its inner liquid; after passing through the boiling water, it had hardened; the coffee, after passing through the boiling water, had transformed the water.
Which one are you? Did you ask your daughter?”When adversity knocks on your door, how do you react? You’re like the carrot that looks strong, but in the face of pain and adversity, you become fragile and you lose your strength? You’re like an egg with a malleable heart and mind, but after death, separation or dismissal, do you become hard and stiff? The outside stays the same, but how did you transform inside?
Or do you like coffee? Coffee changed water, causing pain, when water boils, coffee reaches its best flavor, if you’re like coffee beans, when things get worse, you react and improve things around you.
And who do you identify with?
Being an egg or carrot will only hurt you, so get up and move on. If you don’t react today, you’ll suffer tomorrow. Be strong and confident. Learn how to deal with adversity.
To maintain the motivation to achieve our goals, they must always be with us. Make a mental picture of what you want, close your eyes and feel the power of your thoughts.
When things don’t go the way we want them to, we have to put the puzzle together because something’s wrong. Life is not static, changes happen all the time. Be flexible: If Plan A didn’t work, remember that the alphabet has many letters.
Failure is just a failure. And besides, it’s a passing thing. You may have to take a step back, but when you do, failure becomes an opportunity. Think and take stock of how you overcapped the difficulties, because these are your achievements. .
Often, difficulties exist only in our heads. We meditate on negative thoughts like the gardener’s daughter.
Thoughts are not facts, so action is needed to achieve your goals. Be a warrior and stay away from the difficulties of achieving your goals. Sometimes these difficulties are the others, the circumstances, but it is usually us who create the obstacles.
Accept that it’s natural for difficulties to arise and live on the bright side—they’ll help you re-evaluate your goals. Accept, allow it and leave it at that. Be like the Phoenix that rises from the ashes in all its splendor; Think of the difficulties you’ve been through as a learning experience to start over.
Dealing with difficulties and self-confidence is no easy task, but it is worth thinking and thinking about how we respond to every blow that life gives us, to every obstacle that prevents us from achieving our goals.
When something ends, something starts. They say that victory is reborn from the ashes of mistakes and that in the face of adversity, we must maintain a light that directs us and shows the way.
Have faith that you will succeed, because if you think you can or can’t, you’ll be right anyway.
