Without a doubt, our mind is the manager of our health and the functioning of all our internal mechanisms, that is, the functioning of our organs, including the most automatic and instinctive.
So if the ability to direct, manage, coordinate and operate our entire body in our minds, it has a lot to do for our health.
- We could say that we have “two minds”: conscious.
- Rational and analytical.
- And what we call subconscious minds.
That is why on many occasions we want to be well but our desire does not correspond to our inner state, on the contrary, we begin to feel bad, seeming to have no control over our mind, our thoughts and our body.
While the conscious mind wants everything to work, in the subconscious mind, however, all the systems of alertness, fear and reaction that make us feel out of control and fail in the face of the initial goal of everything working.
Strong emotional experiences are kept in the subconscious mind and trigger memories, emotions, blockages and interference in situations that remind us of past or traumatic experiences, even if we are not aware of them.
When we live an emotionally intense experience, our subconscious will recognize other situations related to it as dangerous and activate all alert systems, making us feel flooded, creating discomfort and suffering, even if the situation is not really dangerous today.
From our minds, we have the ability to generate well-being or discomfort, even if we are not aware of what we are doing.
Health is a state in which we feel good, both physically and psychologically, and whether we feel good depends on how our mind handles and addresses the life and circumstances it offers us, as effectively as possible.
Our mind is programmed with messages we have received since childhood and with what we say to ourselves throughout life.
Our discomfort or well-being depends on this programming, as we learn to react and feel in a certain way in the face of certain situations of life and relationships.
Mental programming is often saved in the subconscious and, from there, problems are generated that we add to our body.
To achieve change, it is necessary to “reprogram our minds”, or find a way for our minds to generate attitudes, symptoms, evolution, thoughts and feelings of well-being.
This is possible through psychological therapy, cognitive restructuring techniques or hypnosis, among others, where the person discovers poor programming in their subconscious that generates discomfort and disease.
If the mind has the power to direct the functioning of our body, then obviously it can do well and generate health if we learn to do it.
To do this, it is important to discover where the subconscious generates emotional blockages and unlocks them, to allow emotions, attitudes and healing thoughts to circulate.
Taking the reins of our health means entering the realms of our mind, since the subconscious is not easily accessible, it is important to use the access offered by the conscious, logical and analytical mind, while observing the emotions that arise in the process. .
To begin with, it is important that communication with ourselves is done through positive and realistic messages with our current capabilities:
Consciously, logically, rationally and intentionally, these messages will guide our minds to the path of well-being, while granting us the power we have to direct our minds, discover and remember internal skills to return to the balance of health.
