Being close to death makes us brave. Because when our very existence is in danger, the media disappears, doubts stop tormenting us, and remorse begins not to have done what we had as a subject pending long ago. It turns out that death, just as it terrifies us, instills previously unknown courage.
We are aware that every minute counts and that we must begin to cultivate mindfulness, however, we postpone it because we prioritize projects, jobs, concerns and other things that occupy our time, which we easily underestimate until our own lives are played and we. realize how wrong we are.
- “When you feel the closeness of death.
- Your eyes turn inward and you find nothing but futility.
- Because the living.
- Compared to the dead.
- Are unbearably worldly.
- -Miguel Delibes-.
You wanted to say it, but you were afraid of rejection. I wanted to mention those words, but the possibility of losing him rejected you. Shame, doubt, is this guy’s question installed in your mind? What would have happened if I ??? A collection of uncertainties that will accompany you forever, from which you will not be able to let go, the important thing is that it does not continue to increase.
We are brave because when we are close to death, we begin to see these and other similar attitudes as foolishness, blame ourselves and blame ourselves for not having the audacity to say or do what we wanted when it seemed to come from within. we still have time, we will try to find a solution to all this, otherwise censorship will start to suffocate us.
Life teaches us with experiences that appreciating it is always a good idea, but the ways in which it does it are subtle and the negative impact that persists on our own consciousness is brief, reminds this person so important that you did not know how to appreciate him until losing him. That’s when you understood what they’re telling you so much, but you refused to listen, ‘value people while you’ve got them around, not when you lose them. ‘
“You have to take risks, follow some paths and abandon others. No one can choose without fear. -Paulo Coelho-
The apology took you as a concern or a negative thought that you can’t get rid of, is it like a shield under which you protect yourself from fighting, to settle into the idea?Tired and sometimes placid? That you run, out of time, that you’re not good enough, that you don’t make the decision to start a relationship with your loved ones?
What you want to experience deep within you is hidden under a restrictive attitude that transforms what you want into something unattainable.
Perhaps the fact that the proximity of death makes us brave is a consequence of having nothing to lose at the time, doesn’t it matter if they answer us with one?Or one?Doesn’t it work if we’re rejected? In those moments all we have to do is try, because if the answer is yes, we will win something, and even if it is negative, we will not lose anything.
That’s the attitude you have to live with today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, always, because there are so many obstacles in your mind from trauma, experiences you would have liked to forget and other circumstances that have caused small cracks that have made you an insecure person. However, you already have a “no”. Take it, accept it and don’t be afraid to fail. Because what you lose, you’ve never had before, so risk!
Most of the obstacles you see are just your imagination. Barriers that create cowards as well as brave; however, the brave confront them, cowards make them giants by avoiding them.
The brave are detached from all limiting beliefs and do not allow anyone to fill them with fear to what is not yet known, because we often find excuses and condition our future, one imagines, we have overcome it. Knowing that it’s unpredictable and has a lot of surprises, why do we have to vent in front of us?
“When you have nothing, there is nothing to lose. -Titanesque-
Expectations, pride, fear of ridicule, fear of failure? All this disappears in the presence of death. It is a lie that what scares us the most, the fear of disappearing, of falling into oblivion, is what gives us the most audacity. This ending, which we always hope will take many years to arrive, is what makes us brave when we no longer have the opportunity to be brave.
