At dawn, our thoughts fly like telegrams in search of recipients. In this magical line between night and day where hard-won readers, melancholy dreamers, creative minds and lovers live, who, among caresses and confidences, are stripped of clothes and emotions?
Dawn, as we can see, is not only territory of those suffering from insomnia or sleepwalkers, in fact, it is a particularly evocative scenario for the brain, this is when we feel free of external stimuli to connect with much more intimate, free and creative spaces; in fact, even brain biochemistry is favored by mechanisms very different from those that govern us throughout the day.
“The early morning chapters are derived from your early morning sketch. -Gonzalo Santoja-
We know that humans rule their biological cycles through circadian rhythm, we are synchronized by this small and fascinating structure called pineal gland that, when stimulated by light or inhibited by darkness, promotes melatonin production to orchestrate our sleep and wakefulness cycles. His participation in the entry and stay in these states is well known; however, it also opens the door to other equally interesting but less well-known processes than sleep-wake.
Many people arrive tired to bed, but instead of sleeping, instead of surrendering to the pleasant pillow shelter, they feel that their mind is activated and in harmony, like radars waiting to pick up signals from the stars. It is a moment when Reading falls well, because it becomes more vivid, because between this sea of letters and the mind, there is an invisible artery that pumps more forcefully. The same goes for creativity or even love.
Because in these times when the city comes out, emotions are more intense.
People are captive creatures of the pointed needle. We are constantly looking for watches that regulate our hours of work, catering and leisure, but these hours accepted in our society do not always meet our needs. Rotating shifts or long working days that make families. Impossible reconciliation are suspected enemies that hinder some of our happiness.
“The night is half the life, and the best half. -Goethe-
Neuroscientists such as Paul Kelly, a researcher at Oxford University’s Institute of Circadian Sleep and Neuroscience, explain that the professional world and the world of education do not take into account circadian rhythms, according to him, all these effects make us “tired society”. Getting to work or school early and spending long hours of work when you go out at dawn and come home at night is daunting in every respect.
Do we live in a modernity where we value the most? To be present, more than effective. Being physically in the workplace or at the desk of school does not mean that the person can do his best at that time, the accumulated fatigue and stress of these unjust times completely hinder the potential of our own brain. emotional utopia until we fell into a sad lethargy of unhappiness.
It is said that dawn is home to dreamers, that moment when the stars whisper to each other and when some have the gift of being able to hear them. As we are embedded in these titanic schedules and small conciliators that we have just described, we have little time for these moments, however, it is common for the brain to claim its own song when the weekend comes, a few more hours to break free.
The process by which you can do this is simply fascinating
The cerebral cortex is the area where a number of areas responsible for tasks such as attention, planning, working memory or rewards are concentrated.
Night, as well as dawn, are moments of subtle satisfaction for a brain that wants to focus on other areas, that’s when the thresholds of these fascinating corners and crevices, such as imagination, emotion, introspection or reflection, are opened.
You’ve certainly experienced this more than once. Lie down with a problem, a lack of ideas or worries and suddenly wake up at dawn with your mind as clear as the surface of a mirror.
The mind goes blank and thoughts flow at a different rate, there is a greater connection and the person feels more pleasure in certain activities that during the day are not always possible.
However, it is obvious that because of our schedules we can not always enjoy those moments that often make us sleepy, however, it is never too much to delight in the subtle and encouraging memory offered by nights and nights, moments when only the Moon or the shy sun?At dawn? Are the witnesses of our humble pleasures: dreaming, reading, loving?
