The thing is, there’s no security.

Do you want to do it at work, as a couple, as a family, with money? And it makes sense, since our goal is to survive.

When we care about things, we think that in this way we avoid certain unpleasant circumstances that can arise in our lives, and the problem with that is that we become obsessed with safety, which has a very negative impact on our emotional health.

  • Generalized anxiety disorder can prove it very clearly.
  • These people are too concerned about any vital circumstance because they believe that what will happen in the future will be negative and they believe it 100%.
  • In addition to worrying about the events of life.
  • They fear being concerned.
  • Creating a vicious circle from which it is difficult to get out.

Obviously, there is a responsibility in our lives and it is necessary to take care of our business in the best possible way, however, we must take into account the difference between occupation and concern.

To be busy is to have an active activity and to look for solutions, but always to know that there are certain things that are beyond our control, and that will always be so, no long as we get and get anxious.

On the other hand, to worry is to worry, is to travel with your mind to the future – which does not yet exist – and to put yourself in the worst case, which generates an exaggerated anxiety that blocks us.

Worrying is useless, quite the opposite. However, taking care of the part we have control, accepting the uncertainty of things, is a sign of psychological maturity and generates peace.

“We never know what’s going to happen. And it’s beautiful never to know. If it was predictable, it wouldn’t be worth living. If everything were the way we’d like it, and if it were all certainty, we wouldn’t be human, it would be a machine. There are only certainties and guarantees for machines.

-Osho-

The world is insecure by nature, it is one of its characteristics, this does not mean that we will always be exposed to dangers, and as we have already said, there is no point in thinking about the worst.

That you know that the goal is to know that one day you have something and that tomorrow you can lose it, and on the contrary also, today we have nothing and tomorrow luck smiles at us and appears what we thought never appeared.

We really have to accept this insecurity, because acceptance will allow us to move around the world, live light and without limits, but with responsibility, to have a clear idea that certainties are not real helps us to have a new perspective on problems, and serves to better face situations and live in peace.

Knowing that the only sure thing is that we are in absolute insecurity makes our minds more flexible and therefore makes us stronger emotionally, more rational.

Let go of the attachments, because you know that nothing belongs to us, nothing is entirely ours, no partner, no work, not even our own health and not even our children.

If we have these things, we will enjoy them to the fullest, but we will be aware that tomorrow may no longer exist in our lives, and there will be no choice but to accept them as joyfully as possible. Exaggerated emotion won’t, help us make up for lost things.

That’s why worrying doesn’t help at all, because no matter what happens, worrying doesn’t change anything, neither the world nor life will ask us what our plans are for the weekend, that’s how life works and that’s the only reality.

? If your problem has a solution, why do you care, and if not, why do you care?

Insecurity, when it accompanies us, leaves us with a bitter and uncontrolled taste that is difficult to bear, here are some strategies to start tolerating it.
