At 12, Ivan asked the young man to tell him a different story, however, the employee told him that his parents would have a daughter who would devour his entire family, that if he wanted to survive he would have to. Ask your parents for the best horse and run as far as possible.

Ivan spoke to his father, who was glad to hear his son’s voice for the first time in 12 years, and, full of joy, gave the boy the horse, who had ridden him as far as the animal took him.

Ivan left and met many people during his journey, who were asked for refuge, among the characters, he saw two elders who did not give him refuge because they were weeding a work that, once completed, would cost them their lives.

There were also two men, Vertudub, who would die after plucking some oak trees, and Vertogez, who would end his life when he finished walking mountains.

Ivan was inconsolable and arrived at the palace of the Sun’s sister, where he was greeted with affection and treated like a son, but the boy cried and was not happy, because he missed his house so much.

Eventually, Sol’s sister let him go home and gave him a comb, brush and two magic apples that would rejuvenate everyone who ate them.

Ivan returned in the same way and met people who did not give him shelter, first saw Vertogez, who only needed to circle another mountain, the young man threw the undergrowth to the ground causing new mountains to appear, the man rejoiced and continued his work.

Soon after, he met Vertodub, who only had three trees to cut before he died. The boy threw the honeycomb on the ground giving birth to large forests, which meant that the man did not have to die, because he had work to do.

Finally, Ivan found the two elders and gave them rejuvenating apples, which after eating them became exuberant young men who, to reward him, offered the child a handkerchief capable of creating a lake by shaking him.

So Ivan went home. Her sister greeted him fondly and asked her to touch the harp as she prepared the food, however, in fact, the witch sharpened her teeth to devour it.

Warned by a mouse, who replaced Ivan in the harp for the child to escape, Ivan ran, but not fast enough, when the witch caught up with him, so he waved his handkerchief to create a lake and delay it.

During his escape, Ivan passed near Vertodub, who, aware of what was happening, filled tree trunks to create a mountain that would stop the witch, who bit the trees to continue her persecution.

He soon approached the place where Vertogez was, who, aware of the situation, moved the highest mountain to the center of the road separating Ivan from the witch to delay it.

And so Ivan arrived at the sister’s door to the Palacio del Sol and asked them to open the doors for him, and this was soon done; meanwhile, the witch asked to be handed over to her brother, in addition, she proposed a deal: she would eat the child if she weighed more on the scale than he; otherwise, she would die at the hands of the child.

Ivan was the first to weigh himself. Then, when the witch rose, the boy took advantage of his weight to make a great leap that would take him to paradise, where another palace of the Sister of the Sun, in which he would live forever, unhinged.
