The thorny way to be ourselves
We spend our lives trying to ‘integrate’. And when we succeed, whether somewhere or with a group of people, life puts us in another adaptive challenge that we must overcome.
- It’s important to know that fear of the unknown and questions are pretty normal things for change.
- These are signs that interesting things are happening in your life.
In the face of major changes, or even those we consider most common and irrelevant, our identity may feel threatened and we perceive it.
“Be yourself, the rest of the positions are occupied?
All these questions indicate that our existence matters to us, and it is even more important that our existence reveals who we really are.
If we have self-esteem, we must convey the most truthful image possible of ourselves.
If our self-esteem is low, we will want to hide our devalued self, and we will enter a maze of false looks, tied postures, superficial treatments and fleeting and empty relationships.
This lack of clarity about who we are and what we want is reflected not only in the complexity of any relationship with the environment in our minds, but also in our constant questions about the decisions that are made.
You have to realize one thing: everything you have decided in this life has been decided by you, however small and sad the choices may seem, you chose one or the other.
There comes a time when you have to stop questioning yourself with that punitive air, you have to reaffirm, but without questioning our existence.
To be oneself does not mean to shape the world according to one’s desire, to be oneself means to sink with it, to contribute with its essence, and to make this journey reward you for what you fight for every day. And this, at the same time, rewards life with its undeniable sle.
Being yourself supports the courage to be who you really are, with all that goes with it. Free of copying and plagiarism.
