Time fits us all

Time comes together and merges with the experiences we accumulate throughout our lives, so everything makes us learn, know and change. In fact, we are so attached to the time that it seems to lengthen or shorten according to our mood and life expectancy.

Time, as they say, does not pass in vain, much less if we look at what we were ten years, five months or three weeks before the present moment; because we already know that, moreover, there is nothing more relative than the years, in this sense we usually measure the time in key events that have marked us and that we will always remember.

  • Any emotion that arises from direct contact with reality implies a change: you can travel and meet new models of life.
  • Meet people with thoughts and habits that were not known.
  • Start a family.
  • Lose people we thought were there forever.
  • Love and abandon.
  • Of love.
  • Etc.
  • All this will change us without realizing it.

The truth is that life has different prices, and one of them, as we know, is to have experiences and connect them with our lives, there will be moments that will mark us so much that we will consider them as something that lasted longer than the real one, and others that we will only remember as something fleeting. That’s why we say we’ve changed over time.

In addition, we generally tend to recount the most negative or positive experiences we can experience as culprits of our personality and sometimes physical changes. Extremes will always make all the difference: we must not forget true happiness, nor our failures and overcomings.

If we go through a bad period, we will probably get stronger; If we make a mistake, we know we won’t be wrong next time; if we are happy, we will only settle for what suits us and escape from sadness, etc.

The truth is that we will never be the same again after a new experience or after a birthday: time transforms us and shapes our person.

Resistance to change, in fact, is useless. Wanting to prevent something from happening in our lives and want to think that everything goes on as it was a while ago is useless, because reality does not work like this, as someone once said: everything flows and everything stays, that is, our Essence will remain the same, but we will not be the same.

If we cannot resist change, the only way to grow forever as a people is to accept it, renew ourselves, and if we can no longer be true to our principles, create new ones that will help us start over. we understand that time passes and that only we are able to decide what to do with it and how to use it.

Just as time changes us, it also changes the people around us and therefore influences the relationships we have in common.

It is essential to understand that accepting change itself is as important as accepting someone else’s, as long as it does not harm us directly: in these circumstances, the other person probably also needs our accommodation.
