Toxic mind as opposed to healing mind

Right now, as I write this article, I have the opportunity to see that my work works or falls down the drain, if I choose the last option, is it possible for me to drown? Is it a matter of free will, as simple as that?

Of course, it is not always possible to have a smile that passes from one ear to another and also colorful and positive thoughts; However, to ward off those thoughts that fuel frustration, fear, anger, sadness, and despair, and seek to be attuned to thoughts that fuel hope, joy, confidence, optimism, and well-being, it definitely makes life more beautiful.

  • From a young age we are conditioned to perceive reality in a certain way.
  • Our parents.
  • School.
  • Friends and the media influence us by the way they see life.
  • Whether for better or worse.
  • A computer program installed on the hard drive that starts working automatically.
  • Unless we reschedule it.

Fortunately, in recent years, science has discovered that our brain is very malleable, a property called neuroplasticity, by which the brain is able to generate new neural circuits and thus constantly renew and regenerate.

Does this mean that our thoughts are renewable resources and that, if we have grown up thinking, for example, that we are not worthy of love, or that we cannot achieve our dreams, the good news is?that this is perfectly reversible?and much needed.

The first thing we need to do is be aware that we have a program that works mechanically in our brain and identifies toxic thoughts that don’t help us at all.

Make a list of all hostile ideas in the most different areas of your life: individual, professional, intellectual, economic, couple, social, in your health, etc. This will give you the power to control these poisonous thoughts, because by becoming conscious, you will be able to face them when they appear; rather than being part of a differentiated area within you.

Then, set the stage for new and vibrant thoughts, through meditation and relaxation, these resources calm the mind and allow us to connect with the voice of our original being, with our intuition and with our heart, whence only thoughts that promote wellness. There are different forms and traditions of meditation that we can choose from, which use different activities, such as breathing, silence, and music to silence and erase the thoughts that make us sick and thus give new life to our mind.

Dare to see yourself and see your situation differently

Encourage yourself to rewrite your own story, to change the course you’ve been through. Boundaries don’t exist beyond your mind. Are the possibilities endless?

To avoid going back to the old toxic thought patterns, we can take several steps:

We must remember that our true essence is above our thoughts, which come and go because they are temporary in nature and change a lot, so we don’t have to expect much from them; it is better to be well in tune with our hearts and our intuition, which are the sources of true wisdom.
