What a tragedy they can tell us about death

I woke up with my husband talking about a plane crash, tried to resist and keep sleeping, started listening carefully, woke up and started reading the news, with each new information I felt a new anguish. The thing is, it’s almost impossible to know something and not be moved.

I know that death is a predictable thing, everyone knows that one day it will come for all of us who live on this planet, but, contrary to this certainty being immutable, deep in our unconscious, we do not accept it. be painful, whether it’s a fetus or a 100-year-old.

  • When death occurs in the younger ones becomes even more painful.
  • It is like accepting better when it happens to an old or sick person.
  • Someone who suffers.
  • But so it happened.
  • In a happy time for a team and with many young players.
  • Delegation.
  • Journalists and crew members from another country.
  • We were too shocked!It’s a brutal.
  • Violent and irreparable loss.

We are saddened by interrupted lives, dreams that are over, the pain of those left, the struggle of the seriously wounded, the longing of the family. It made it even harder to expect many family members to have miracles and for their children, husbands, grandchildren, nephews, and parents to be alive. I’m sure I would if I could hold on to a thread of faith.

And as much as I have for work I have seen death up close as someone who works in hospitals, there is that widespread feeling that life is very fragile, and every day you have to live it intensely, because we don’t even know what comes before. ? As we waste our time with nonsense, with small problems, we fight, we hate, we abuse when we should love more, respect more, cultivate affection in the day to day, have more positive feelings!

Time will soften all this, making us resilient and flexible to survive despite all the pain, tragedy and pain we’ve been through. It will happen to me, you and everyone who is going through this terrible situation today.

The feeling is of loss, of mourning, you have to have empathy, to be considerate, to offer support and comfort, to help as much as possible, it will be inevitable to cry, not to be moved, let alone repent, even because it could be one of us, of our loved ones, anyway.

You can see one of those days when you can have faith in humanity, that there are more good people scattered everywhere, anywhere on Earth, you can feel the solidarity, the union of peoples, the empathy to put you in the place of the other and we really feel a loss, because above all, we are people, and real people suffer for themselves and for the suffering of their fellowmen.

This text is not intended to sadden or please anyone, because today it is difficult to smile, but it does intend to allow a brief reflection on life, how is it a slight breath that can come and go whenever you want, without a certain date, without goodbye? That we all need other people at one time or another (see them, in the rain, 5 degrees cold, night, wounded and others in a forest waiting for help from strangers!).

May we value life, even when it comes to an end. For many, the rebirth, not only of the wounded, but of all family and friends, of an entire nation, of a world that weeps today, but with great hope for the better. days, and they will come Fortunately, a storm doesn’t last forever!
