Positive affection is the propensity to experience more positive than negative emotions over time, these pleasant emotions make people have a wider and richer repertoire of behaviors than those who feel more emotional discomfort, and also promote healthy lifestyle habits, making it an effective form of prevention.

Now let’s look at the different types of emotional personality. There are four, the first is that of self-constructive people, who get a high positive score and a low affection in the negative. This first type, of course, has higher levels of happiness or subjective well-being.
The second type of personality is the emotional high, here are people with intense affection, both for the positive and the negative, are the ones who follow, in terms of more happiness, then there are those of the third kind: the emotionally weak Who are they? Those who have low levels of both types of affection.
Finally, the least happy are those of self-destructive emotional personality, which have low levels of positive affectivity, but high levels of negative affectivity, that said, it is not difficult to imagine that their subjective well-being levels are the lowest.

That said, it is possible to assume that personality has a strong relationship with our health in general, influencing the different areas of our lives, such as the emotional state, with everything it means.
