You can fall in love with a stranger

We fall in love in a totally unconscious and intuitive way, it is not necessary to perform complex mathematical operations, nor to list all the arguments for or against, for someone to steal our heart.

Our intuition is formed so as not to think too much about whether we like a certain person or not, we know unconsciously when someone attracts us or if we can fall in love with them or them.

  • “Falling in love is like jumping off a cliff.
  • Your brain is screaming that this is not a good idea and that it will inevitably bring pain and suffering.
  • But your heart thinks it can ride.
  • Slide and fly.

? Marie Coulson?

In 1997, psychologist Arthur Aron of New York University designed a 36-question test that indicated that we can fall in love with a stranger and create intimacy in just 45 minutes.

Arthur Aron’s test dates back to many comments on January 9, 2015, when Mandy Len Catron published an article in the New York Times about how he fell in love with the Aron test.

Aron sought to create intimacy among strangers and conducted a study with several people to try to figure out what problems might make us fall in love with a stranger.

Eventually, Aron chose several heterosexual couples to answer the questions and found that this way people created great intimacy with their partners. At the end of the test, the couples looked each other in the eye for 4 minutes.

When we fell in love with one person or another, we acted on our intuition, we realized that we love this person without resorting to logic.

It is a feeling that makes it clear that we love this person and not another, this intuition depends on two fundamental factors: one psychological and one chemical.

Our belief system is the psychological factor that helps us choose a certain person. We usually choose people with similar tastes and a similar view of life. Sometimes we unconsciously look for people who look like our family or friends that we admire very much.

We can fall in love with someone around us, and it depends a lot on when we live, we have to be prepared to fall in love for that to happen.

“The encounter between two people is like the contact between two chemicals: if there is a reaction, the two are transformed. “

? Carl Jung?

But our attraction to a person is also a matter of chemistry. The chemistry of love consists of all hormonal processes and neurotransmitters that are triggered when two people come into physical contact.

Helen Fisher, a researcher at the Department of Anthropology at Retgers University in the United States, says that men fall in love faster than women.

Fisher says, based on her research, that in men there is more brain activity in a part of the brain linked to visual stimuli, so women try to please men with their appearance.

However, in women greater brain activity was detected in three areas of the brain related to memory: to know if a man can be a good father or a good husband, a woman must remember his behavior, what he said, etc.

Aron created the 36-question test to show that he could create intimacy between two people in 45 minutes.

Each couple must alternately answer all the questions in the test, which are divided into three groups and are increasingly intimate. The final phase of the test includes questions such as:

When was the last time you cried in front of someone else and alone?

? Tell your partner something about him that you like.

? Share a personal problem and ask for tips on how to proceed. Ask your partner how you think you feel about the reported problem.

This experience consists of answering questions and gradually creating a complicity with the other person, the questions become increasingly personal and we know the other person deeply in a short time.

From this intimate and deep knowledge can be born the intimacy necessary to fall in love.

It seems like a very quick way to fall in love, but this test highlights the concrete aspect that connects us with a person: intimacy, and intimacy can lead us to love.

? My strategy is that every day

I don’t know how or on what pretext

but that you finally need me ?.
