Taking responsibility is not easy, especially when living with the stigma of childhood. For many, it’s the easiest way to live, it’s what makes them feel in their comfort zone. “So I was created and that’s why I behave like this”
Certainly, becoming an adult means being responsible for yourself. You can’t blame teachers for not teaching him what he needs to know now; If you need knowledge, now you can learn them for yourself, you can’t blame your childhood partners for bad habits that won’t let you move, because if you have harmful behavior that affects your adult life, you’re the only one who can change it. After all, you have your own destiny.
- The past certainly influences our current life.
- But if you can find the root of the problem.
- Accept it and you’ll see that everything starts to flow.
- Stop blaming the past for what’s going on in the present.
- And if you can’t really get over it.
- Seek professional help and you’ll see that no complex or trauma is second to none.
- Some can be harder to solve.
- But over time and help.
- We can all overcome yesterday’s problems that affect us.
Many times what binds us to the past causes us a lot of pain and paralyzes us, not allowing us to live in the present, if during your childhood people kept saying that you were fat, stupid or useless (or any other adjective for the purpose of belittle), it certainly occurred to you and made you think that it is natural that it is, although you do not like it now as an adult. But that doesn’t mean you have to hold that belief for the rest of your life. your life can change whenever you propose.
The process of becoming an adult involves maturation, growth and change. Her adult life should not be negative simply because her childhood was negative. Changing the brands we use can be a lot of work, but in the long run, positive thinking leads to proactivity. changes and promotes the growth of self-love and acceptance.
While many people remember childhood as one of the best stages of their lives, others unfortunately remember it as suffering, this can no longer be changed, but as they mature, everyone has the tools to build and rebuild their lives, because they no longer depend on anyone creating their own gift. Everybody believes it. It means giving up the bad experiences of the past and taking responsibility.
There are also people who use the past as a shield, not necessarily because it was so bad, but because they do not find the courage to change and assume responsibilities as adults.
Fears are not second to none, although it is always easier to say that you have been educated than to face your disability or ignorance. Remember that nothing better than your own actions to get you out of your comfort zone. Sometimes fear can be motivating, it’s just about getting here.
Overcoming the obstacles that prevent you from moving forward is something that could determine your existence and nothing is safer than this statement: only you own your own destiny.
